THE EFFECT: Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that sends each enrolled child a book every month from birth until they enter kindergarten. Since its inception in 1995, the organization has sent out over 150 million books to children to share diverse stories and inspire a love of reading right from the get go.
