This sisal, woven trivet is handmade in Gitarama, Rwanda. The artisans use sisal plants, extract the fibers, then hand-dye and weave them into these beautiful works of art. Perfect as a placemat for hot plates or as a decorative centerpiece. Measures ~9.5" in diameter. There is a loop on the back for wall-hanging.
